Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhat... ((NEW))

The boss battles undoubtedly make for the most memorable and thrilling moments in the game, ending most of the nine levels on a relatively high note. These tank-like mutants can take quite the beating, making each battle feel like a matter of both skill and endurance. It's usually just the turtles against a single boss, but it is possible for another one of the game's big bads to show up during a battle. We couldn't deduce the criteria necessary to trigger these encounters, as the game makes no obvious attempt to communicate their existence; they just kind of... happen. But when Bebop unexpectedly lunges into the ring during a brawl with Rocksteady, you'll no longer care why or how it happened.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhat...

Mutants in Manhattan's story is as by-the-comic-book as can be: Shredder and Krang are attempting to take over the world and have dispatched and/or brainwashed rival mutants like Bebop, Rocksteady, Wingnut, and Slash. Whether you’ve checked out of the TMNT universe since the early 90s cartoon or are an avid watcher of the modern Nickelodeon version, it’s pretty easy to jump into Mutants in Manhattan’s world. The constants are nice: Donatello is the archetypical tech wizard, Leonardo leads, Michelangelo worships pizza over all else (except maybe nunchucks), and Raphael is pretty salty. While the turtles themselves are as entertaining as ever, April and Splinter are reduced to a static face on comms popups and inventory manager, respectively. I know the turtles are the stars of the show, but they could’ve used a better supporting cast.

In this new game, set in New York City, the Turtles will be seen to defend the city from aliens, mutants and the notorious Foot Clan. There will also be challenging boss fights against classic foes like Bebop, Rocksteady and Shredder. 041b061a72
