The scholars agree that the miftah of the Messenger, of the people of Taha, of the Tabi'un and the Taabi'un, and the main Tabi'un, is the miftah of the Shari'ah of Islam. It is not obligatory to refute the views of the Tabi'un or follow the views of the Taha' or Tabi'un. The scholars agree that the miftah of the scholars of the scholars of the last century is the miftah of the last century. This is not because the scholars of our time are not the most competent of them, rather, it is because the scholars of the last century (meaning the people of Taha') are the most numerous among the scholars of the Shari'ah (people of Tabi'). Therefore, the views of the people of Taha' are obligatory. Yet, if there are reliable sound opinions amongst the people of the Shari'ah, then it is not obligatory for the people of Taha' to follow them.
